The team at Right Homes have been a constant and crucial part of The Green Swing journey since early 2010. To date we have completed not one, but two projects with them.
In 2010 we set out with a goal to create small inner city living environments in Perth which are the most sustainable, promote community feel and encourage creativity, are of high quality, affordable and generate interest and inspire real change. We aimed high and did things differently.
We met Gary and Anna from Right Homes when looking for a builder for our first project and have not looked elsewhere since. Gary and Anna have looked after us and were willing to take on our innovative and unique projects. We push boundaries, whether it be design, building materials, water and energy efficiency or waste management practices. They have been willing to help us and work with us. They truly made a difference. We could not have done what we’ve done without them.
Our first project at 96 Rutland Avenue is now a multi-award winning development. It consists of two townhouses and two apartments and included different constructions methods including reverse brick veneer and straw bale, lightweight framing, double glazing, innovative flooring and has been recognised for its water and energy efficiency. Our latest project at 84 Rutland Avenue in Lathlain was a continuation of our first, muli-award winning project. Right Homes again played a key part in the collaborative team effort that made this project a reality. They were with us the whole way, from providing input into the collaborative design process to constructing a high quality, to handing over the keys to the two townhouses and five apartments. The project management of the construction of and quality and finish of this Class 2 complex development was outstanding. We value Right Homes’ customer service, professionalism and commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability. They definitely go the extra mile and help make dreams a reality.
